A Celebration of Women in Music, Lilith 2010 Debuts a 16 Song Collection From this Year’s Incredible Array of Female Musicians


(New York - May 17, 2010) Lilith Fair Productions/Arista Records announces today the release of LILITH 2010 TOUR COMPILATION, a collection of 16 tracks from a talented array of artists performing on Lilith 2010, in stores on June 15th, 2010.

This special collection offers an abundant selection of songs from some of Lilith 2010’s most anticipated performances including Rihanna’s “Russian Roulette,” Ke$ha’s “TiK ToK,” Court Yard Hounds’ “The Coast,” Colbie Caillat’s “Fallin' For You,” to Norah Jones’ “Chasing Pirates,” Corinne Bailey Rae’s “The Blackest Lily,” as well as Lilith co-founder Sarah McLachlan’s “One Dream,” to name a few album highlights.

From 1997 through 1999, Lilith Fair was one of the highest grossing touring festivals in the world, with over 1.5 million fans in attendance and raised over $10 million dollars for national and local charities. Founded by Grammy-award winning recording artist Sarah McLachlan along with Dan Fraser, Marty Diamond and Terry McBride, Lilith Fair was the only tour of its kind—a celebration of women in music featuring artists like Sheryl Crow, Christina Aguilera, Erykah Badu, The Dixie Chicks, Missy Elliott, The Pretenders, Nelly Furtado, Jewel, Queen Latifah, Indigo Girls, Tegan and Sara, and of course, Sarah McLachlan.
